This image was acquired with a new telescope (120mm Orion F5). Image was taken with a 45 minute exposure.

The Pelican Nebula
by Pete LaFrance
The Pelican nebula was taken for 25 minutes using an HA (Hydrogen Alpha) filter. This image was also taken with the Orion 120mm telescope.

IC 1805
by Pete LaFrance
Another photo of IC 1805. This emission nebula is a mix of glowing interstellar gas and dark dust clouds only about 7,500 light-years away! Taken with a 120mm f/5 telescope with SBIG ST8-XME CCD imager, then processed with Maxim/DL and Photoshop Action tools. Exposure: through an HA filter, 55 min. total exposure.
