Mare Crisium via Webcam

Photo taken on September 29, 2007, with an 8-inch f/4.9 reflector and webcam. This photo captures of the western edge of Mare Crisium. It shows the bright ray crater Proclus to the west of the mare and the gray plain of Palus Somni to the SW of Proclus.



Janssen Crater via Webcam

Photo taken on September 29, 2007. In northeast sector of the hexagonal Janssen crater is the 78km diameter crater Fabricus. To the NE of Fabricus is the 88km diameter crater Metius. Taken with an 8-inch f/4.9 reflector and webcam.

This close-up photo of Copernicus captures its terraced walls and group of central peaks. An 8 inch Newtonian, 3X Barlow, webcam and Registax software were used.
